Our #TWKFamilyFridays series is where we hope to provide you with resources to both learn a little more about the world of food and its sources, and connect with one another in the process.

I recently read this blog post about checking in with yourself during this time being home and it resonated with me (one of the few things that has lately). While I like these questions – especially #3, it got me thinking – what would be on my post-it note? Here’s what I came up with.

I think it’s important to take stock of how you are doing – especially in times like these when we are often prioritizing everyone and everything else. So my family tip today is to take just a few mins at the beginning of the day (because I know more than that is almost impossible – believe me as a mom of a 2 and 5 year old I know!) or at the end when you are planning for the next day (as many of us are), and think about what matters most to you. The answers can be big or small (yesterday for experiencing nature it was to have my kids eat a snack outside so I could get 5 mins of fresh air!).
What is on your post it note?
