Announcing TWK’s New Executive Director!

TasteWise Kids is pleased to announce that Salina Duncan has taken on the role of Interim Executive
Director, effective August 1st, 2023.

Salina holds 15 years’ experience in nonprofit management in organizations focused on education, food literacy, and food security. She led Guatemalan based organizations, Las Manos de Christine and Together We Can Guatemala, as the Executive Director from 2011-2019. In February 2022, Salina joined the TasteWise Kids Team as Program Manager of the 20 year running Days of Taste program.

Salina is dedicated to the TWK mission, and she loves how TWK integrates some of her favorite things- cooking with kids, local farms, local food, environmental stewardship, and fun hands-on learning. Salina spends her free time practicing yoga, community gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She currently lives in Westminster, MD with her children, Lucy and James, but feels a strong connection to Baltimore City, as she lived and attended school there for many years.

TasteWise Kids (TWK) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Baltimore City, Maryland. Our
mission is to inspire kids to explore and experience the world of food and its sources. We operate with a
single goal in mind: to create fun ways for kids to build critical food literacy skills and develop positive,
healthy eating habits.
