The vegetable takes anywhere from 2 to 4 months to mature into a grown vegetable. Carrot fiber can help keep blood sugar levels under control. They’re loaded with vitamin A and beta-carotene which there’s evidence to suggest can lower your diabetes risk, they can strengthen your bones. Carrots have calcium and vitamin K which is important for bone health. You can eat carrots by itself or cook them. Carrots can be made from cakes, salads, sauce, chips and can also be added on spaghetti.
