Kids Get a Virtual Tour of a Germination Station

Did you enjoy getting a look at what virtual Days of Taste is like this year? We’ve got more where that came from!

Thanks to farmer Tommy Shireman from Third Way Farm in Havre de Grace and the 4th grade teachers of Havre de Grace Elementary School, we had videos to share with students of the farm, how to prepare a salad, and how to follow the workbook with materials. We look forward to the many ways Days of Taste can adapt to the times. Tommy even gave students a virtual tour of his basement seedling and sprouts operation, take a look below:
